Without knowing what country you are talking about I cannot give a good answer, but usually, there is no upper age limit for student visas if you are accepted to a school abroad. However, if you for example want to study in Japan you should put extra effort to writing your reason of studying abroad. For older students it is usually a good idea to write that your planned studies abroad will help you in your career.
Please note that some schools or countries (primarily in East Asia) may impose rules that you need to start your studies abroad within a couple of years of graduating from high school in your home country. However, these are local restrictions and they are not applied globally.
