California Language Academy was founded in July 2010 with the mission of providing
personalized, intimate, and engaging language learning services. Together, we have
established high-quality, family-owned, and operated language schools that offer small
class sizes to meet the individual needs of each student’s learning goals and objectives.
With offices in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, and now Virginia, we have a capacity for over 1,000 students on all three campuses.
CLA Programs and Courses!
CLA offers a range of programs for adults and young students and some special summer courses for teenagers and their families! For some programs, we also have afternoon and evening schedule options. To enrich the student experience in California every month we offer many exciting activities on and off campus so the students can have the best of the Cali Experience! By offering small classes and having a very multicultural and international staff we guarantee that the students feel at home in CLA.
At CLA students can study from 12 to 27 hours per week in our exciting General English course or the premium programs such as Business English, Exam Preparation or the Pathway to College program.
On top of that, we also offer special courses for teenagers and parents every winter and summer in our Los Angeles and San Diego campuses.

CLA Los Angeles Campus: The campus provides access to a wide range of cultural activities, tourist attractions, and professional opportunities. group needs, whether for academics, personal growth, or professional goals.
CLA San Francisco Campus: Our San Francisco campus offers a vibrant, modern learning environment right in the city’s heart. With friendly staff, state-of-the-art facilities, a kitchen, a student lounge, and a spacious event area, it's a welcoming place for students. We celebrate cultural diversity and provide opportunities to explore
global perspectives through international exchange programs.
CLA Virginia Campus: we also have a new campus in Virginia close to Washington DC.
Our accommodation options! In all cities we operate, CLA offers walking distance accommodation options of shared apartments and residences that can be from 1 - 20 minutes walking! On top of that, we also have homestays available for our students who want to have an authentic American experience.
