At International Business Academy, we teach with a highly international and practical approach, preparing you for a blooming career starting right when you graduate from IBA.
Why should you study at IBA?
We have a large focus on offering you an international education. We offer our students several different international opportunities during their time at IBA. We offer our students to go on an internship abroad at one of our around 100 partner universities all over the world. Students can go on week-long trips during the semesters or join and travel with our case team. Our students come from many different countries so you will have the possibility of meeting friends from different cultures and backgrounds. We also offer an internship abroad as a part of the studies where students can go to any country of choice. Besides this, we also have the Confucius Institute where we offer students to take free classes in Chinese language and culture. The Confucius Institute also holds a summer camp in Shanghai, China every summer for their students. All these opportunities will prepare you for a future international career.
Programs and Courses
At IBA we have programs that mainly focus on business, marketing, entrepreneurship, and IT-related areas. We offer AP degrees, Top-up degrees, and bachelor’s degrees. You get a full bachelor's degree when you take both an AP degree and a Top-up degree.
All our programs are offered in Danish and some of our programs are offered in English. Swedish and Norwegian students can do the exams in their native language

Campus and City
IBA, International Business Academy is located in the city of Kolding in the south of Denmark, 80km from the German border. Kolding is a calm and nice city where you can focus on your studies and personal development at the same time as the city offers a good student life with a lot of different activities.
Our campus is a new building with bright and open spaces, located in the harbor of the city. Next to our campus, you can find three other university buildings, so you will be surrounded by students from different schools and programs.
From Kolding, you can easily access any part of Denmark in around two hours and as we are located next to the German border, there are several opportunities to visit our neighboring country. There is an international airport located 45 minutes by car from Kolding, so there are many opportunities to travel to different countries if you wish to do so.
