Education Designed With Diversity in Mind
Over 500 students from over 30 countries study Japanese with us and it is very difficult for students of varying nationalities and Japanese levels to study Japanese at the same time. However, at JIS we have several class levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced, and super advanced. We take great care to offer the best educational experience possible while also keeping our students' nationalities and individual abilities.

Japanese Language Courses
Regular Japanese Course & University Preparatory course:
Both courses study in the same class. We will provide advice on every career path (returning home, pursuing higher education, getting a job in Japan). You will join the best class depending on the result of the placement test.
Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced Class
Start from understanding the structure of Japanese・Learn the minimum language knowledge required for communication in Japanese. After completed Advanced class, you can move on to following classes.
■Special University Preparatory Class: This class is for students aimig to university in Japan. Learn Japanese language skills to understand unversity lessons, write reports and make presentations in Japanese.
■Business Class: This is the class for students aiming to work in Japan. Learn necessary skills for business documentation, take practical lessons & training for job interview etc.
■Master Class: Aiming to improve Japanese level from “good Japanese level as foreigner” to “natural Japanese”. Not only to be able to use Japanese, but also to be able to use Japanese fluently and appropriately.
We will consult closely with you, support your study and place the appropriate classroom to meet your objectives
Location and group companies
Location
JIS Japanese Language School is located in the center of Osaka. It takes just a couple of minutes away from Hommachi station, a short walk from Shinsaibashi shopping area.
During the weekend or a long vacation, you can easily access Kyoto, Nara, Kobe, etc for sightseeing.
Group companies
We have great support from group companies. We have a clinic in our group company and the students can see a doctor for free or at a very low cost.
We also have a group company that help international students to find a part-time job (Long-term students and working holiday visa holders only).
