Student Experience
Mats Israelsson, Doctor of Medicine (MD), Class of 2025, Sweden:
"UNIC Medical School admits students from all around the world. Studying in such an environment allows me to communicate and work with people from many different cultural backgrounds. This significantly increases human understanding, removes stereotypes, and provides greater insight into cultural awareness, vital in our future roles as doctors."
Caitlin McAllister, Class of 2028, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Canada:
“I always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, but I never expected to study in Cyprus, far from my home in Ontario, Canada. The welcoming faculty and rigorous academics at UNIC have been exceptional. Beyond the classroom, I've enjoyed exploring the island's culture and attending seminars that connect us with industry leaders. My time here has been transformative, and I know it will make me a better veterinarian when I return to Canada.”
