COD has a proven record of successful university transfer! Our international students have transferred to universities throughout California including UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, San Diego State University,  CSU Fullerton, CSU Long Beach, CSU Northridge and CSU San Bernardino. Our International Student Counselor will help you take advantage of our university transfer admission guarantees to transfer to the UC and CSU systems as well as private and out of-state universities.

Programs and Courses

For students who want a California college experience without committing to a degree program, the one-semester or gap-year program at COD is the perfect option!  Choose from hundreds of courses while exploring the exciting sites of Southern California.

COD also offers dozens of professional certificate programs that provide the practical skills necessary to immediate enter the workforce.  Automotive technology, culinary arts, digital design, fitness specialist, musical theater, retail management, and zero net energy are just a few of the options. 

The most popular enrollment option at COD is associate degree programs.  Like certificates, these degrees provide practical professional training, and they also prepare you for transfer to bachelor’s degree programs around California and the U.S.  COD offers several associate degree options including accounting, architecture, business, engineering, film production, hospitality management, political science, sports medicine, and many more. 

COD is also a great place perfect your English skills.  We offer fulltime English instruction for 8 and 16-week sessions throughout the year in our Intensive English Academy (IEA).  COD’s IEA students are fully integrated into the COD campus community and enjoy frequent fieldtrips throughout the Southern California region.
