Can I Study Dentistry In Korea with Beginner Korean?
Hello! I actually want to study Dentistry in Korea but the problem is I have been reading that I need to be at least in level 5 proficiency. So, I want to ask if I can actually study Dentistry while being in a KLI program during my first year there? (Honestly, I'm aiming for Yonsei University so I am getting quite anxious about it) Thank you very much in advance!Asked by: Reese, 2 years ago
Answer:
No, not unless you have found a dentistry program in Korea that is taught entirely in English. Normally you would need at least Topik 3-level of Korean Language (30+ weeks Korean language course) in order to study in Korean. Good language skills is even more important in a complicated subject like dentistry where you most likely will work with Korean patients as a part of your training.
