what are the criterias for studying in australia for a mechanical engineer pased out in 2016 for ms.

i have secured 6.5 in academic module for ielts

Answer:

The admission requirement varies between different schools so you will have to check it for each individual university. You can for example study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Melbourne. See their entry requirements here.

They will ask everyone with an IELTS test score lower than 7 to take a diagnostic English test. However other for some other schools IELTS 6.5 should be enough. Read more about the IELTS-exam.
